The conflict

Story behind “The Conflict”

I am a young Iranian artist who uses art to express the struggles and conflicts I faced in my life. Growing up in Iran, I experienced firsthand the effects of racism and classicism, and I channeled these experiences into my work.

“The conflict” is an abstract painting, and it consisted of a black canvas with just two colors: red and white. The red in the painting represents the “nonsense arrogant people” in society, the ones who caused conflict and harm to many people. The white represented the “good people”, those who tried to make a difference and bring peace. The contrast between the two colors is striking in this painting.
